Captain's Log
12/3/08
New HoC logo running on Donor's Box-will attempt public when it's not occupied. Nice work on the logo Riddick-Thank you!!!
Renamed all SOC mappacks and addons to HOC on the FTP and corrected the links on the webpage.

Re: Captain's Log
Added Smilies from old Forums-I needed the pancake and sorry. Got the Gametracker Banners to use our colors. Replaced Teamspeak Banner, with TeamSpeak monitor-so you can see who's in, and just click to join. [edit] Shortened names in .ini files on both servers.

Re: Captain's Log
Set both servers to have a minimum of 4 players (balanced by bots) as voted by the Donors on 12/20.

Re: Captain's Log
Too many requests for quick access to things like Downloads and Donations, brough them back to the main forum index.
This also allowed me to easily make "The Rules" viewable by non-registered users (by request).
Moved Map Modding from Voting to "Tutorials"-made mre sense is all.

Re: Captain's Log
OK cleaned out the Public and Donors Servers of weeded maps, also cleaned out the mappack and HocAddons and rebuilt them. They have all the new maps and files, and none of the weeded stuff. The Mappack can still be downloaded in 4 pieces...but I also put a single link to one big download I also editted the webpage to link to the new downloads http://houseofcarpe.com/Downloads.htmThis will be the LAST revision of the Mappack before it's final completion. Hence the MapWeeding extravaganza we have going on right now. When done, this MapPack will simply be HoC MapPack I and be closed, sealed, DONE. THEN we compile all the new maps you folks wanna try into a HoC BetaPack 2 and start the process all over again But we'll have NEW MAPS!!! (sorry folks I'm getting sick of the old, I see Goliath...and I go play ONS instead (shrug).

Re: Captain's Log
Map was rebuilt and fixed by Legacy-cAM, done in Dec '05. Rupert at Omni was the one who tracked it down, I don't know how he managed it, I googled the crap out of this map and couldn't find diddly... so the props go to Rupe. Actually, the links in Legacy's posts were long dead, and Rupe tracked down a filefront link (so we got this JUST in time !). Woot.

Re: Captain's Log
Fixed the Folder/Category issue I created when I fumblingly created them. Backed up GoDaddy via FTP.
